WHO SAYS TOLERANCE IS A TWO-WAY STREET?
The New York Times > International > International Special > Clerics Fighting a Gay Festival for Jerusalem

Some radical members of the gay community are showing their colors by planning a a 10-day WorldPride festival in Jerusalem this August. As expected, Muslim, Jewish, and Christian leaders are uniting in opposition to what they see as a desecration of the holy city. Since every one of these religions forbids homosexuality, and religion is central to the lives of most people in Jerusalem, it is difficult to see why the organizers would pick this, of all places, to hold their festival. Maybe this is the new "tolerance."

Maybe next year they'll pick Mecca.
